Career Coaching

As a career coach, I listen to your personal narrative about:

  • Where you are in your career and how you got there

  • Where you hope to go and/or what you hope to change

I take this information and act as a tactical and strategic mentor to help you better understand the things you want, and then outline the steps it will take to make them a reality. Working with a career coach often feels like part therapy and part personal training. I’ll listen, observe, and come up with a plan, but in order to get to your goals, you also need to be ready to put in the work.

I develop career coaching plans that are actionable, strengths-based, and focused on tangible outcomes.

Reasons you might want to work with a career coach

Each career coaching session is personalized. You might seek my support if:

  • You’re ready to make a big shift in your career – Often this means shifting from one level within your industry to the next, or switching from W-2 income to freelance work.

  • You’re negotiating your salary and benefits – You may need support in advocating for what you want and deserve.

  • You want to explore career options – You know you’re not in your dream job yet, and you’re not sure where to go next.
